  2. Hi Signe!
Here are my answers, hope they’re okay. I can’t Blogger to do what I want right now, so I’m not logged in on your page (wierd!) :)

    1. I think that Alma was used to the thought that you needed a gun to protect yourself.
    2. Alma moved, so that she could get away from the gangs, and the bad influence they had on her.
    3. Maybe because she realised that she could end up killing someone herself, even by accident.
    4. I don’t think she was interested in politic before, and didn’t really care about it.
    5. Because she wanted the laws about guns to be changed, and to change the society.
    6. I wouldn’t really call it a life, more likely a long surviving battle. It was bad, and don’t think she had a good life back then.
    7. I think the laws about guns in Alabama should be tighter, then, I think, less people will be killed.
    8. I think the lost of her sister was very hard for Alma and gave her chock. I think it made think a lot over how serious guns actually are.
    9. I don’t think that Cate would’ve been shoot, if Alma and her family have lived in Alabama. Their parents could maybe have kept Alma and Cate out of gangs by taking them to activities, so that they had a hobby.
    10. I think that it’s bad, because then some who just got out of prison can just go down to nearest store and buy a gun, to take revenge and kill somebody.
    11. No, I don’t. I think that people should be registered, when they’re buying a gun, how many guns they own, and it should by statutory to report whenever your gun is stolen.
    12. I think she realised how bad guns are, and how weak the gun laws is.
    13. I think that Alma didn’t really care about the other people who got killed in the gang fights, and was first when someone she knew and loved got killed that she woke up.

  3. Answers to your questions:

    1. Because she groove up with some bad people, and knew that if she couldn't defend herself right, she could get killed.
    2. Because she had to get away from all the bad and dangerous things she had grooved up with, and she needed to live somewhere more peaceful.
    3. I think it was when her sister Cate died, and she really realized what situation she was in. She also thought about, if the guns wasn't there, many people could still have been alive.
    4. Because she didn't care about the laws, and just did what she and all the other gangs wanted to do.
    5. Because she meant that there should be more gun control, and the laws should be more strict about how guns should be used.
    6. I think she lived a very dangerous and wrong life, been together with all these gangs and guns.
    7. I think the laws aren't very good, and you almost couldn't call them laws if the state fx doesn't care if kids could get a gun. I mean the state should think about how dangerous they actually live, and then come up with some much better and safe laws, because they should think about the peoples safety.
    8. It has affected her to really open her eyes and see how she really lives, and also think about all the bad things she had done in her past.
    9. No, if she had lived in a more safe society, and learned that guns was a bad thing, then Cate wouldn't have been killed, and she would have a much better upbringing.
The parents should have thought about how they wanted to raise there children, and then find a nice place to live, without all the gangs and guns.
    10. I think it's wrong that they don't have it, because then everybody can go and get a gun – even if they are murders or thiefs.
    11. No, because then you don't know who owns a gun, and it would help a lot to have your gun registered if it got stolen.
    12. Because she suddenly could see how her life was, and realized how bad guns really was.
    13. Because then she felt how it was to loose a family member and the pain other people have after one of there dearest have been killed.

  5. Good answers! Try to get use to always asking yourself "why?", when you write/tell what your opinion is. In that way you will learn always to argue for your opinion.

  6. Hi Signe! Here is my answers about Alma and her life:

    1. Maybe because there was many gangs in Alabama, and many got killed because of the gang fights.
    2. I think, Alma moved to Massachusetts, so she could get away from all the negative in Alabama and start on a new life.
    3. I think she wanted to be against guns, because her sister, Cate, died, and that she didn't wanted to be arrested again.
    4. I don't think she cared about politic and laws, the time she was a criminal.
    5. Because she began to care about the society and gun control, so many lives would be safe.
    6. I think, her life was sad and a mess because of the gang, the drugs, the rubberys and the prison.
    7. The laws are very bad in Alabama, I mean, children could just get a gun, and nobody cares. I think, there should be a backgroundcheck, on everybody who buy a gun, and that people who own a gun should be registered.
    8. I think, Alma got more aware, about how dangerous guns and gangs can be.
    9. If Alma had a better childhood, a better upbringing and lived in a safer city, then her sister probably wouldn't have been killed.
    10. The fact that there is no backgroundchecks is a little scary, because you don't know if a person have been criminal in the past or hate another person.
    11. No I don't think so, because it's dangerous going around without knowing, if a person have a gun or not.
    12. Because she woked up, when her sister died, and she was probably afraid, if that would happen to her too.
    13. She suddently woked up, because it was a person, she knew very well, who got killed.
